Energy forever?
Learning how to be energy efficient is not only about protecting our planet and saving money. There is another important reason – we need to make sure we have enough energy… forever.
Some
sources of energy on Earth will never run out. These are called renewable sources.
Other sources of energy have a limited supply on Earth and will eventually run out. We must use these non-renewable sources wisely as we depend on them for most of our energy needs at the moment.
One day, when we run out of non-renewable energy sources, we will have to get all of our energy from renewable sources.
